Parish History

Four Churches joined to become One Parish

In Autumn 2022 we joined together as one Catholic community with our churches: Holy Spirit West Bridgford, Our Lady of Grace Cotgrave, St Anne Radcliffe-on-Trent and St Margaret Clitherow Keyworth and welcoming worshippers of all ages. And from 25th March 2023, we are now The Parish of the Annunciation, Rushcliffe.

Mass to celebrate the promulgation of the “Parish of the Annunciation, Rushcliffe”

We celebrated Mass on the Solemnity of the Annunciation on 25th March at the Becket School, to officially announce the establishment of our new “Parish of The Annunciation, Rushcliffe”. During the mass, Fr Simon Gillespie, Private Secretary to the Bishop of Nottingham, conferred the decree on behalf of Bishop Patrick to our priests, Fr John Martin and Fr Liam Carpenter.
